Ritter & Bried, P.C., a small law firm located in Allentown’s West Park area, was formed in 1998 by Robert V. Ritter, Jr., Esquire, and William P. Bried, Esquire. Bill and Bob each have over 30 years of legal experience representing clients. They each strive to provide their clients with a thorough analysis of the legal problem with a sensible plan for resolution. Robert V. Ritter, Jr.
Robert V. Ritter, Jr., Esquire, born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, is a member of the Pennsylvania and Lehigh County Bar Associations. He is admitted to practice before all courts in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as well as in the United States District Court, the Eastern District Court of Pennsylvania and the United States Supreme Court. Bob was President of the Lehigh County Bar Association in 1994.
Bob received his undergraduate degree in government from Franklin & Marshall College, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Pi Gamma Mu. In 1973, Bob received his Juris Doctorate degree (cum laude) from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was an Editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif. Bob served in the US Army in West Germany in 1970-1971.
Bob is committed to providing his clients with quality legal services. His combination of experience allows him to provide his clients with a wide range of legal services for individuals and businesses. William P. Bried
William P. Bried, Esquire, is a shareholder in the law firm of Ritter & Bried, P.C. since its formation in 1998. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and Lehigh County Bar Associations and is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Bill received his undergraduate degree from Penn State in 1970 and his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Memphis in 1977. He was admitted to practice law by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in April 1978 and to the Lehigh County Court of Common Pleas in May 1978.
Bill represents clients primarily in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. He represents clients in divorce, custody and support matters, in the preparation of wills, trusts, powers of attorney and health care directives, and represents executors, administrators, in connection with the administration of estates. Bill also represents his clients in litigation matters that include personal injury actions, estate litigation, real estate matters, breach of contracts, general business disputes, franchise purchases, and business purchases and sales.
Bill’s goal is to efficiently and effectively complete a transaction or resolve a legal problem without costly delay while still recognizing his client’s objectives and goals.
Bill has served on various non-profit boards as a board member and counsel in the Lehigh Valley including Big Brothers and Sisters of the Lehigh Valley.
Bill is a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, the Donald E. Wieand Barristers Inn of Court, is a Chairman of a Board of Arbitrators in Lehigh County, and is a member of Asbury United Methodist Church.
